Terms of Use — Petzara
Last updated (Portuguese original): 10/16/2026
Legal notice
This document is informational and forms an agreement between you and the operator of the Petzara platform. It does not replace legal advice. The operator's full corporate identification (legal name, CNPJ (Brazilian company registration number) and address) will be published on this page when available; until then, you can request information through the contact channel listed in the Privacy Policy.
1. Parties and acceptance
1.1 These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the Petzara digital platform (the "Platform"), a software-as-a-service (SaaS) product for professionals and businesses that provide pet services, used to manage schedules, clients, pets, services, related financial information and similar features made available by the operator.
1.2 By creating an account, accessing or using the Platform, you (the "User") confirm that you have read, understood and fully accepted these Terms and the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
1.3 If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
1.4 The Platform operator may update these Terms at any time, as set out in clause 12. Continued use after the changes are published constitutes acceptance of the new terms, except where the law requires specific consent.
2. Eligibility and registration
2.1 The Platform is intended for individuals or legal entities that lawfully provide pet services or manage similar businesses. By registering, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into contracts and that the information you provide is true, complete and up to date.
2.2 Registration may require information such as your name, business name, email address, phone number and password. Confirming your email address is not a condition for using the Platform: it ensures that the email is correct so that the User can recover their password and receive account notices.
2.3 The User is solely responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and for all activity in their account. The operator is not responsible for access resulting from the User's negligence (for example, sharing a password).
2.4 You may not create accounts by automated means or in breach of these Terms, nor use third-party data without authorization where such use would violate their rights.
3. Description of the service
3.1 Petzara provides, as a license to use the Platform, tools for:
- creating and managing clients, pets, services and appointments;
- recording financial information related to the business (according to the features available);
- inviting and managing team members with permissions set by the account holder;
- business settings, including a custom public URL and a visual theme, when available;
- notifications and real-time features, when implemented;
- support channels through an authenticated form, when available.
3.2 The Platform is provided as a web application (browser) and may offer installation as a PWA or packaging for mobile environments. Features and compatibility may vary by device, browser and version.
3.3 The operator may change, suspend or discontinue features for maintenance, improvement, security or legal compliance, provided this is reasonable and, where possible, with prior notice.
4. Roles: administrator and team members
4.1 The administrator is the primary holder of the business account and is civilly and administratively responsible for the data and for the conduct of linked users.
4.2 The administrator may invite team members and assign them roles and permissions (for example, view, create or delete in areas such as appointments, clients, pets, services, finances, team members and settings). The administrator is responsible for ensuring that invitations and use by team members comply with the law and these Terms.
4.3 Team members must accept invitations through the Platform's flow and use the account on behalf of the business, within the limits of the permissions granted.
5. Public page, availability and WhatsApp
5.1 When enabled by the User, the Platform may provide a public page tied to a custom URL identifier, allowing visitors to view business information (such as name and phone number) and available times on selected dates, according to the configured scheduling rules.
5.2 Contact between the pet owner and the business may be completed through an external channel (for example, WhatsApp or another channel chosen by the User). The operator does not provide messaging services and does not guarantee the delivery or content of conversations outside the Platform.
5.3 The User is solely responsible for the information displayed publicly, for the accuracy of the times shown and for the commercial or service relationship with pet owners and third parties. Petzara is not a party to agreements between the business and its end customers.
6. Subscription, trial period, payments and cancellation
6.1 Continued use of the Platform's main features requires a paid plan with automatic renewal (monthly or annual). The subscription is purchased through one of the available payment providers: Google Play, for subscriptions purchased in the Android app, or Stripe, for subscriptions purchased on the web version.
6.2 Under conditions offered by the operator, new sign-ups may include a free trial period (for example, 30 days, no card required), as communicated at sign-up. At the end of the trial, the User is only charged if they have purchased a plan, at the price shown at the time of purchase.
6.2.1 +14-day promotional bonus. During the trial period, an account with appointments created on 3 (three) different days automatically receives 14 (fourteen) additional trial days. What counts is the day the appointment is created on the Platform (Brasília time), not the date scheduled for the service; deleted appointments do not count. The bonus applies only once per account, is not cumulative, has no cash value and is not transferable. As a promotional condition, the operator may change or end it for accounts created after the change, while keeping the conditions announced to existing accounts.
6.2.2 Subscribing during the trial. Anyone who purchases a plan during the trial does not pay right away: on the web version (Stripe), the first charge happens at the end of the trial; in the Android app (Google Play), the subscription is purchased with a Google Play free period that ends at the end of the trial (or a few days later, never earlier), and the date of the first charge is shown before the purchase is confirmed. Until that date, the User may cancel at no cost: in Google Play, under Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions, or, on the web version, in the account settings. If the trial is about to end (less than 2 days left, on the website; less than 1 day, in the app) or if, exceptionally, the offer with a free period is not available in the app, the charge is made on the day of purchase, and the payment screen says so before confirmation.
6.3 Google Play subscriptions. Billing, renewal, payment methods, cancellation and refund requests for subscriptions purchased in the Android app are processed by Google Play, in accordance with Google's terms and policies. The User may cancel at any time in the Google Play app, under Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions; access continues until the end of the period already paid. Refunds for in-app purchases follow Google Play's refund policies and may be requested directly from Google; in addition, Petzara support may also refund, through Google Play, charges made up to 7 (seven) days ago, upon request through the contact channels. The operator does not receive card details or details of any other payment method used on Google Play.
6.4 Stripe subscriptions. Payments, invoices, payment methods, renewals, failed charges and cancellation or plan changes for subscriptions purchased on the web version may be managed by the User through Stripe's customer portal or equivalent flows integrated into the Platform. The operator does not store full credit card numbers on its application servers; this data is handled by Stripe in accordance with Stripe's policy.
6.5 Each account may have one active subscription at a time, which must be managed with the same provider through which it was purchased. Invited team members use the account holder's subscription.
6.6 Subscription states (such as active, in trial, payment pending or canceled) may affect access to the Platform. Where a subscription is inactive or unpaid, under the technical rules implemented, the operator may limit or block the use of features until the situation is resolved or the account is closed.
6.7 Prices and applicable taxes follow the conditions shown at the time of purchase and applicable law; refunds follow clauses 6.3 and 6.8, the policies of the payment provider used and the law. Billing questions may be sent to the support channel indicated by the operator and, where applicable, to Google Play or Stripe.
6.8 Right of withdrawal (website purchases). Under Article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, a User who purchases a plan on the web version may withdraw from the purchase within 7 (seven) days of purchase, with a full refund of any amounts paid, simply by asking support (email suporte@petzara.app or WhatsApp). The refund is made to the same payment method, through Stripe. If the purchase was made during the trial, the User may also simply cancel before the first charge, at no cost (clause 6.2.2). For purchases made in the Android app, clause 6.3 applies.
6.9 Accounts that do not subscribe. At the end of the trial without a subscription, the account switches to read-only mode: the data (clients, pets, appointments and finances) remains stored for as long as the account exists, and the User may view it, export it (for example, appointments as CSV or XLSX, in Settings; other data upon request to support) or request its deletion at any time (under Settings › Delete account or through support). Once the User subscribes, the account works normally again with the same data. Retention is also governed by section 10 of the Privacy Policy.
7. Sign in with Google
7.1 The Platform may allow signing in with Google. By using this option, you authorize the processing of the data required for authentication by Google and by the operator, as described in the Privacy Policy.
7.2 Use of the Google service is subject to Google's terms and policies.
8. Permitted use and prohibitions
8.1 You may use the Platform strictly for lawful purposes, in accordance with these Terms, Brazilian law and the rights of third parties.
8.2 The following are prohibited, without limitation:
- breaching or attempting to breach the Platform's security (including unauthorized penetration testing, overloading systems or malicious reverse engineering);
- using the Platform to spread malware, spam, unlawful content or content that infringes intellectual property rights;
- unauthorized automated data extraction ("scraping") that harms the infrastructure or violates third parties' privacy;
- assigning, reselling or sublicensing access to the Platform in breach of the purchased plan or these Terms;
- recording or processing personal data of data subjects without a legal basis appropriate to the business's activity, under the LGPD (Brazil's General Data Protection Law).
8.3 The operator may investigate and take action, including suspending or closing accounts, where there are signs of a breach of this clause.
9. Intellectual property
9.1 The Platform, its code, design, trademarks, logos and the operator's proprietary content are protected by intellectual property law. No clause transfers ownership of these elements to the User.
9.2 The User is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the Platform in accordance with these Terms and the purchased plan.
9.3 The User remains responsible, with respect to third-party rights, for the data and content they enter. The User grants the operator a license to host, process and display such content to the extent necessary to provide the service.
10. Privacy and data protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy, in compliance with Brazilian Law No. 13,709/2018 (LGPD).
11. Limitation of liability
11.1 The Platform is provided "as is", within the limits of applicable law. The operator makes reasonable efforts to ensure availability and security, but does not guarantee that it will be entirely free of failures, downtime or errors.
11.2 Under no circumstances will the operator be liable for:
- lost profits, data loss caused solely by the User, or indirect damages, unless mandatory law provides otherwise;
- the business's failure to meet its tax, employment or consumer obligations;
- disputes between the business and pet owners, team members or third parties;
- failures of third-party services (including Google Play, Stripe, Google, email providers, hosting and networks).
11.3 The operator's total liability for proven direct damages, in any event, will be limited to the amount actually paid by the User to the operator in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, where applicable and except for willful misconduct or gross negligence that the law does not allow to be excluded.
12. Suspension and account closure
12.1 The operator may suspend or close accounts in the event of a breach of these Terms, a court order, a security risk or significant non-payment, subject to legal requirements.
12.2 The User may delete the account under Settings › Delete account or request closure through the channels listed in the Privacy Policy, subject to data retention where the law or a legitimate interest requires it. If there is an active subscription, it is canceled with the payment provider.
13. Changes to the Terms
13.1 The operator may change these Terms at any time. The updated version will be made available with its effective date. Where required by law or where changes are material, new acceptance may be requested or a notice may be sent by email or through the Platform itself.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
14.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil.
14.2 The courts of the consumer's place of residence are chosen where the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code applies; in all other cases, disputes will be resolved in the courts of São Paulo, State of São Paulo (Brazil), unless a special legal provision states otherwise.
15. Contact
For questions about these Terms or the processing of personal data, use the channels listed in the Privacy Policy (section 14), including the email suporte@petzara.app and the authenticated support form on the Platform, when available.
